PRENATAL CARE FOCUS GROUPS
Partners & Spouses of Mothers
Dear Pasifika Community Advocates & Supporters - Given the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we've moved our prenatal care focus groups to virtual calls. This is to ensure we are in alignment with Governor Inslee's Stay Home, Stay Safe order and more importantly, to help keep our communities safe while contributing to our collective work. Since January, our focus groups had been conducted in person and up to this point, was centered on Pasifika mothers (Pasifika Mothers defined as self-identified indigenous Pasifika or mother to Pasifika child/children) and their pregnancy experience. In many cases though, a significant proportion of our mothers do not go through this experience alone and are reliant on their spouses to help support them in a number of ways. This is why this targeted focus group session exists!
If you are willing, able, and available on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 3:00PM to join us for our Partners & Spouses Zoom Focus Group meeting, we would really appreciate your contribution! For your time, the Pacific Islander Health Board will provide a $50.00 gift as a token of our appreciation.
Once you are registered, our outreach team will be in touch with further details!
